How Flagpad works
Overview
Flagpad is a launchpad on top of pump.fun where every country of the world can have exactly one coin. The first person to launch under a country's flag claims it forever: the ticker and contract address are bound to that country, and a second coin for the same flag can't be launched through Flagpad.
Flagpad has no smart contracts of its own. Everything happens through pump.fun's deployed programs: coin creation, trading, and creator-fee sharing.
Where the money goes
- Traders buy and sell on pump.fun (bonding curve, then PumpSwap after graduation). pump.fun charges its standard creator fee on trades.
- The creator fees of each coin are split on-chain: 70% to the verified charity of that country, 20% to the launcher, 10% to Flagpad.
- The first buy is the launcher's own money: their SOL goes into the bonding curve and they receive the tokens. Flagpad keeps nothing from it.
- Network fees: the launcher pays for creating the coin and accounts; Flagpad pays the network fees of every payout transaction out of its own share.
How a launch works
- Reserve. You sign a free message with your wallet; the country is reserved for you for 10 minutes (database row lock — two people can't reserve the same country).
- Metadata. Name, ticker, image (or an auto-generated flag card), description and socials are uploaded to IPFS.
- One transaction. The server builds a single atomic transaction: create the coin (pump.fun
create_v2, Token-2022), your first buy, create the fee-sharing config and set the 70/20/10 split. The server signs as the coin creator and with the mint key; you sign as the payer and buyer. Either everything happens, or nothing does. - Confirm. Once confirmed, the country is marked as taken and the coin appears on the globe.
The coin's on-chain creator is Flagpad's platform wallet — that's required to configure fee sharing. Immediately, in the same transaction, creator rights over the fees are handed to the fee-sharing config, so the platform wallet doesn't receive them.
Fee sharing & immutability
pump.fun's fee-sharing program stores the list of recipients and their shares in a SharingConfig account for each coin. Under pump.fun's one-time creator-reward distribution policy, the shares can be set only once. Flagpad sets them at launch — after that, nobody (not the launcher, not Flagpad) can redirect the fees. Each country page links to its SharingConfig on Solscan so you can check the recipients yourself.
Consequence: if a charity ever loses access to its address, its share keeps going there. That's why charities are verified before a country opens, and why share changes in our settings only affect future coins.
Payouts
Fees accumulate in the coin's creator vault. A Flagpad worker regularly checks each coin and calls pump.fun's distribute creator fees instruction once enough has accumulated (to avoid wasting fees on network costs). The program sends SOL directly to each recipient. This instruction is permissionless — anyone can trigger it; we also index payouts triggered by others. Every payout is listed with its Solscan link on the Donations page.
Charity verification
- An admin adds a charity with its Solana address and a mandatory proof link — a public page where the charity itself publishes that address.
- Accepted sources: the charity's official website, Endaoment and similar platforms that show a static Solana address belonging to the charity.
- Per-donation deposit addresses (generated fresh for every donation) are not accepted — the recipient must be permanent.
- Until a charity is verified, the country stays grey ("coming soon"). We never invent or guess addresses.
- Flagpad is not affiliated with listed charities unless a partnership is explicitly stated.
Data sources
- Market cap on the bonding curve: read on-chain from the pump.fun curve account × SOL/USD.
- Volume and post-graduation market cap: DexScreener. Holders: Helius DAS. SOL price: Jupiter.
- Stats refresh every couple of minutes; payouts are written as soon as their transaction confirms.
Risks
- Memecoins are extremely volatile and can lose all value. Nothing here is investment advice.
- Flagpad relies on pump.fun programs; changes or outages there affect Flagpad.
- The fee split is immutable — including if a charity loses its keys.
- Being first to claim a country doesn't make the coin official in any governmental sense.
- Indexer numbers (mcap, volume, holders) can lag or be temporarily unavailable; on-chain data is the source of truth.

FAQ
The Flagpad admin adds a charity only together with a proof link — a public page where the charity itself publishes its Solana address (its own website, Endaoment or a similar source). Only then the country turns from grey to available. We never invent addresses.
No. The split is written into pump.fun's fee-sharing config in the same transaction that creates the coin, and pump.fun allows it to be set only once. After launch nobody — not the launcher, not Flagpad — can redirect the fees.
It stays grey ("coming soon") until a charity with a published Solana address is verified. You can suggest one to us on X or Telegram with a link where the charity shows its address.
No, unless a partnership is explicitly stated on the charity card. We send their share on-chain to the address they publish themselves. Every payout links to Solscan.
You pay the network fees and your first buy (the SOL goes into the pump.fun bonding curve and you get the tokens). Flagpad takes nothing from your buy; its 10% comes only from future creator fees.
A worker checks every coin regularly and triggers pump.fun's permissionless distribution once enough fees accumulated (so network fees don't eat the payout). Anyone else can trigger it too — we track those payouts as well.
Risk disclaimer. Coins launched on Flagpad are memecoins traded on pump.fun. They have no intrinsic value, are extremely volatile and can go to zero. Nothing on this website is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Only use money you can afford to lose entirely.
Charities. Flagpad is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with any listed charity unless a partnership is explicitly stated on that charity's card. A country can only be claimed after an admin checked a public page where the charity itself publishes its Solana address (the "proof" link). The charity share of creator fees is sent on-chain directly to that address by pump.fun's fee-sharing program — Flagpad never holds it. Every payout is a public transaction you can verify on Solscan.
Immutability. The 70 / 20 / 10 split of every coin is written on-chain at launch and cannot be changed afterwards — not even by Flagpad. If a charity ever loses access to its address, its share keeps going there. Country names and flags are used for identification only; Flagpad is not affiliated with any government.
